Alan's irrepressible enthusiasm for technology and innovation has led to leading and founding roles with Sun Microsystems, Teknekron, TIBCO, OneBlink and Spotto. With a background in major systems development and implementation his teams have implemented real-time trading systems for major banks, written an energy trading and settlement system dealing with over 50% of Australia’s power, and with OneBlink are powering mobile applications integrated into corporate systems for government departments and businesses.

Dave’s insatiable thirst for information is expressed through his penchant for connecting the dots between business opportunities and technologies. He left a career as a Creative Director in Marketing to found his own event tech software company, Centryc, which was later acquired in 2014 by Magic Memories, NZ. After relocating to the Central Coast, Dave co-founded a joint venture between 4iD and OneBlink, which was acquired by Spotto. With a passion for machine learning and design thinking, Dave now directs Spotto’s product vision.

Since 2013 J has been designing digital experiences for companies like Karbon, Sense Medical, Red Balloon and Xero where he was a lead designer in Xero’s global marketing team, helping advance the company toward 1 million subscribers.

Jim has a 40-year history in the building automation industry, where he held diverse roles, from managing director to contract salesman to engineering manager. Building Automation is a subset of the IOT industry which makes Jim’s experience directly relevant to Spotto asset tracking. Jim also brings his sales and marketing background to Spotto, where he focuses on creating positive company engagement with our new clients.

Spotto Technical Director and resident beer expert, Matt has been exposed to the tech industry from a young age and has spent his time working predominantly with start-ups as both a developer and analyst. He has delivered projects such as live tracking and IoT management systems with Chargebox UK, ecommerce and marketing tech solutions with RedBalloon, and a suite of websites, CRM and streamlined digital processes at the University of Technology Sydney with ActivateUTS.

Steve joins the board of Spotto and takes on the role of leading the technology and helping drive business strategy. As a scientist and serial entrepreneur, and with a number of successful exits under his belt, Steve brings a passion for innovation and a history of inspiring talented engineering teams to build products people love. Most recently, Steve spent several years as Vice President of Product Development at Pitney Bowes in New York, after they acquired Steve’s company Encom Technology. There he helped drive both the vision and technology for their location intelligence suite and lead an engineering team spanning three continents.
